MSN keeps signing out?
Shut down Windows Live Messenger.
Click Start
Click Run
Enter: %appdata%\microsoft
Click OK.
Then right click the MSN Messenger folders, choose Delete, and then confirm the operation.

just tried this, no roblems yet will repost to keep y'all informed. my gf was getting p'ed off with me disconnecting 10 mins of searching later and i find this :D

steve when you open your start up window with all your programs, games etc, at the bottom it says 'start search'. type run into there and it will come up with it.

if your using vista you dont even need to type it in run you just type it in the start search bar and it comes up
that folder is meant to come back. you know why?
Cause its something that msn creates on default also its the msn cache of every detail about your msn account.
So stop saying the folder keeps coming back, your obviously not computer orientated nore have any knowledge, your internet could be dropping out with out you having a clue.
so stop jumping the fucking gun and blaming Microsoft, cause 90% of the time its the users fualt for being a dumb arse and in a hurry.
so fucking stop whining u pieces of shit and take some computer lessons.

Evrytime i sign on msn it disconnects me nd is saying lost connection and reconecting again
it reconects me and works for a few seconds but wont let me talk to anyone and cuts off again.

When i open any messenger program it closes the whole window after about 5 seconds it also does the same if i go onto a messenger on the net.. what do i do.. :'(

Look ok people need to stop getting so worked up like amraks.
Try doing it a couple of times if the folder keeps coming back. Try deleating it when signed out of msn
I got and without noticing I opened it it was smth about party images from a friend and of course its a virus and disconnects me every once in a while from MSN messenger any ideas how to get rid of it?
IM SO FURIOUS WITH THIS MSN LIVE!! my dad just bought a new computer, and we installed it. and blah blah blah. so one day ( 3 days ago ) im chatting online, and msn signs me out after being on it for about 4 minutes? and it says it " lost connection and is reconneting" but when it reconnects, it disconnects within 5 minutes?

THEN REMOVE THE TICK IN THE BOX THAT SAYS "ONLY PEOPLE ON MY ALLOW LIST CAN SEE MY STATUS AND SEND ME MESSAGES"
IT KEEPS IT ON FOR A LITTLE LONGER THO MINE DOES KEEP SIGNING OFF OCCASSIONALLY

So said Amrack ... SHUT THE FUCK UP! It should NOT be up to us to solve a problem that's not even our flipping fault. Fucking MSN ... Fucking Microsoft. I hate them both SOOO much. PS the thing didnt work :(
