Fix 80070002 Error
When you are try to sign in WLM or MSN Messenger you get 80070002 Error.
"Service is Temporarily Unavailable"
How to fix WLM 80070002 Error?
- Search for ppcrlconfig.dll (probably located in X:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\IdentityCRL\ppcrlconfig.dll) and delete it.
- Remove any WLM or MSN Messenger installed (including MSG Plus).
- Restart Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger.

I fixed my problem. The only thing i do is go to safe mode, run the system restore in safe mode and undo the changes back to the date before the WLM error 80070002 happen to your computer. It's that simple and i didn't use the MSN 8.1 now and using 7.5... Good Luck

It didnt work, ive tried everything, ppcrlconfig.dll would not go away. And it doesent work..!
It did not work for me.I deleted the ppcrlconfig.dll and I removed all of the windows messenger and windows live messenger files but I still get the error:80070002. What else can I do to make this work???

hi I have this error too.
it is not when I try to sign in.
I'm using an Addin for the msn.
the addin works fine, but when I close the WLM and reopen this addin can't get activated, I don't know why...
I unistalled the WLM deleted all the patches I was using, reinstall the WLM and it didn't get fixed.

This (and lower versions) are the ONLY one without these kind of errors (That is 110% generated by the SPYWARE they fill your PC with)
