Once open, the virus automatically downloads, infecting your computer. The worm file stores itself in the computer's memory and sends new infected
messages every few minutes to all contacts in your Windows Messenger's Contact List.

Ccleaner is a great program to use. However the temp files aren't properly emptied unless the user opens the program, clicks the 'Options' button, clicks 'Advanced' and unchecks 'Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours'.

u dont need ccleaner - i was able to go into my computer and i found it and deleted it - thats all you gotta do
okay i dunno if the ccleaner worked, doesnt seem to have worked. if i can just go into my computer and delete it where would i even start to look for it?
Why do you click the link's that you are sent and then accept to download the stuff that comes with is, just show some com'on sence and don't click links you are not sure of, or ask the sender about it.
And CC is a good program, you can clean your computer with Adwear and many outher programs but CC works fine, have not tested it but have this program and it is a very good cleaner.
I have a question though, how do you know if the virus is really gone. Can you find the place where it stores itself and delete it manually???

For once I'm glad I have Vista. I clicked the link, chose 'run',and when Vista asked if I really wanted to run it, I noticed that it was an MSDOS file, so i said no. Am i safe?
^ xp does the same thing, mine did at least.
XP did same for me but some people have taken the option for XP to do that off. so it never asks again
i have tried ccleaner and impFix and it didnt work... what else can I do?
i also found the file on my computer after alot of searching and when i go to delelte it says that its not permitted. i see the file and i see where the problem is coming from but how do i delete it?
Go into your processes, by pressing control-alt-delete. You will see updater running. end that process, then go into C:/windows and delete MFC.exe and updater.exe and you will see a file that looks lke a WRAR file. It will be called WO. delete that too. Do this while your intnet ceonnection is off. Then the problem is solved
